This Par 3 may look simple on the scorecard however this undulating redan green poses a stiff test. A high approach shot will give players the best chance of holding the green which runs away from them toward the sea. Deep bunkers and steep runoffs await errant tee shots and will leave an up and down unlikely.

Pro's tip
Ok, you’ll have to be on best behaviour for this one! Having got used to the wind direction for Shore 1, 2 and 3 you’re now faced with a whole new ball game. Despite the length of this par three, serious dangers lurk. Anything offline is going to involve the bunkers on both sides. Best avoided. If you concentrate on correct distance control you’ll be faced with a far easier putt. The lateral ridges on the green are really tricky. Pin high on the putting surface is a good result. Get your par, breathe a sigh of relief and move on. Playing in low sunlight take a look at the contours from behind the green. You see exactly what skulduggery is involved.
